I went with my co-workers to El Charro for lunch today. There was a Toros sign - it represented the Tucson Toros baseball team from years ago.

On campus today they were promoting the ultimate dorm room. There were stations with video game consoles, including the Wii.

Feb. 12:

I had lunch at one of my favorite restaurants with one of my dear friends. It was our last meal together for a while since she left for a semester in Paris a couple of days later. There was a TON of hummus left, and on my walk back to the office, I swung my arms as one tends to do…and some hummus spilled out. Luckily I did not get any on anyone’s clothing.

Feb. 13:

I was working on reading through some source code for work. It’s quite the challenge when I don’t understand it all… Also on part of my desk - a free Gumby figure (from last year’s San Diego Comic-Con) and Walter the Farting Dog (well, his mouth and front legs). And look at that, my Dilbert daily calendar is there, too.

Feb. 14:

Took a friend down to 4th Avenue and walked by one of my favorite bars.

Also noticed an amusing sign at a restaurant.

We also went to Gates Pass around sunset, and I got this amazing shot. I felt like a professional.

Feb. 15:

My hamster is always trying to plan her escape. Here she is climbing out after I opened the top of her cage.

Feb. 16:

My friends and I played some mini-golf, but we only had 20 minutes to play. This lead to chaos as everyone was golfing at the same time.

Feb. 17:

Chinese New Year’s Eve! It’s the year of the pig, and this was a gift from my aunt.

So I went to dinner with some friends tonight. Delicious steakhouse. We were getting a bit bored by the end of the evening, so my friend Carrie started to play with the condiments…and this is the result. What can you identify?

Today I spent over two hours catching up with a dear childhood friend who I hadn’t seen/hung out with in years. It was so good to see her, and I’m sure we’ll be spending more time together again soon.

Plus you have to love the wind-blown look. It was so cold outside!
